Animal Farm was voted the book people most wanted to read or reread at our first-ever Battle of the Books at R. J. Julia Booksellers in Madison, CT in May of 2019. Neil Regan made a stunning case for it: “Orwell’s political fable is told in seven chapters,” Neil told the audience. "If it seems particularly resonant with the news of our day, you might say we’re in chapter 3.” Congratulations to Neil for being our first Battle of the Books winner.
