There There is an honest and compelling story about twelve urban indigenous Americans, all making their way to the Big Oakland Powwow in Oakland, CA, where freeways have taken the place of babbling creeks, the urban skyline has replaced the sacred mountain, and the smells of gas and freshly wet concrete have banished the scent of burning Cedar sage. Orange's characters experience the painful realization that their ancestral land is no more, and there's "no there there." Unputdownable.
