What don't I love about this book? Start with the glorious setting of coastal South Carolina, add the vivid cast of characters, mix in the love triangle of 3 very different people, and end with the most beautiful ending of any novel. The language was everything...harsh, violent, full of romance, and funny as hell. I am so disappointed Mr. Conroy was overlooked.
I was surprised when I got to the C’s and found that Pat Conway was not included. The Prince of Tides is so well written that I couldn’t put it down when I read it years ago. Now I must RE-read it again!
